Q. What is your experience in the financial industry? How many years have you been with Flatwater Bank?

A. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Ag Business. I have 5 years of banking experience and have been with Flatwater Bank for a year and a half. I handle consumer, commercial, and ag loan requests at the Ansley location with Bryan Trimble. My passion truly lies with the farmer and rancher loans. I grew up on a farm north of Merna and continue to farm and raise cattle with my parents and brother.

Q. What are some of your job responsibilities at Flatwater Bank?

A. I am a voting member of our bank's Loan Committee that meets every week. Financial education is very important to our bank and it’s team members. Every year I look forward to going into the classroom to meet the 5th grade and senior classes at Ansley Public School. It’s a great opportunity for the kids to ask questions as they work through the EverFi financial program that we sponsor.

Q. What is something you would advise for young producers just getting started?

A. Reach out to as many different people in as many different sectors of the industry that you can.

Q. How would customers describe you?

A. I hope my customers would think of me as someone who goes the extra mile. Learning about my customers' current situation and their future goals is something I spend a lot of time on. As their milestones and goals are attained, I’m genuinely happy for them.

Q. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

A. I enjoy farming in my free time. Running back and forth in a cornfield or working with cattle is how I decompress. From time-to-time I like to hit the golf course.

Q. What is a fun fact about you?

A. I have a twin brother. If you think you saw me and I didn't say hello, it definitely wasn't me!
