Hometown Fun Giveaway

1. We invite you to “Like” The Flatwater Bank Facebook Pages https://www.facebook.com/FlatwaterBank  and https://www.facebook.com/flatwaterbankansley and following the Flatwater Bank Instagram Page https://www.instagram.com/flatwaterbank/.

2. From August 24 to August 30th, you can register directly on our Facebook or Instagram page for a chance to win (each Facebook and Instagram profile can enter once per day). There is also an alternate form of entry described below.

1. No purchase, banking relationship of any kind or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win this contest.

2. Eligibility: The 2020 Hometown Fun Giveaway is only open for entries and eligible for legal residents of the state of Nebraska. Officers, directors, and employees (collectively, “employees”) of Flatwater Bank, and any members of their household or immediate family (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents) of such employees, and all those with whom such employees are domiciled are not eligible to enter or win.

3. Entry Period: The 2020 Days of Hometown Fun Giveaway begins August 24, 2020 at 8:00 am CST. The giveaway entry period concludes on August 30, 2020 at 11:00 pm CST.

4. How to Enter: During the Entry Period, you can enter the Contest by visiting our Facebook or Instagram pages. Each day there will be a post featuring that day’s giveaway. To enter, you simply like the post and comment on the post. You will need to be a member of Facebook or Instagram (becoming a member is free). You are allowed “one entry” per Facebook Profile or Instagram Profile “per day”. 

5. How To Enter Alternate Method: You may also mail a completed postcard by August 26, 2020 with “Enter To Win Hometown Giveaway” to Flatwater Bank Marketing, 900 Lake Avenue, Gothenburg, NE 69138 (or drop a postcard by the bank). If entering by mail, include your name, address and phone number. The Flatwater Bank is not responsible for any lost or misdirected mail.

6. Contest Restrictions: Limit one (1) winner per person and per Facebook account/email address.

7. Chances of Winning: Chances of winning depend upon the number of entries received by registrants within the promotional period. Each day a winner will be selected by a Random Winner Generator from all those who had posted to that day’s Summer Fun post.

8. Winner Notification: By 11 am of the drawing date (see #2); winners will be notified on Facebook and Instagram.  Winners will need to contact the bank to make arrangements to receive their prize.

9.  Prize amounts may be reported on a 1099 or 1099-INT and reported to the IRS.

10. General Conditions: By participating, participant agrees to be contacted by Flatwater Bank if that participant is a winner, Flatwater Bank may use participant’s user name and biographical information (city and state) on the Flatwater Bank Facebook or Instagram page in an announcement of the winner and prize.

11. Personal Information: We use personal information collected in our giveaways and contests only to contact the winners. We do not share or sell information about individuals who enter our giveaways and contests other than to contact a winner and arrange for fulfillment of a prize.

12. Dispute Resolution: Any and all disputes with respect to this Giveaway will be resolved in the appropriate courts in the state of Nebraska exclusively, and subject to the laws of the State of Nebraska.

13. The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
